Position Summary:

Business Systems Analysts are responsible for analyzing and evaluating existing or proposed systems and coordinating their design, development and implementation. Candidates must have extensive experience gathering business requirement and creating related functional documentation as well as analyzing complex business scenarios. This position will also define and manage projects which address underlying business requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close knit, dynamic and enthusiastic team.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Writing business requirement documents
  • Documenting change requirements and development of documented system specifications to be used in technical design and software development
  • Analysis of proposed changes to determine potential impacts to all company systems
  • Project management
  • Troubleshooting of application issues
  • Identification, assessment and escalation of system issues
  • Liaison with developers and business users on resolution of system issues
  • Testing of system enhancements and new developments as required
  • Maintaining a detailed working knowledge of current products and systems
  • Ensuring that issues are escalated in a timely manner
Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience
  • Exceptional analytical/problem resolution skills
  • Good working knowledge of relational database design
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present effectively verbally and in writing
  • The ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
Compensation Package:

Base salary plus annual bonus potential. Participation in 401(k) plan, medical, dental and commuter benefits.
