About the Research Associate Position:
Our Global Research Intelligence (GRI) team is looking for a strong Research Associate with previous sector experience covering industrials or healthcare. The role involves providing fundamental research support to the Senior Analyst, assisting in generating reports and marketing material, presentations and databases, as well as helping with special ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned.
Coleman Research Group's Global Research Intelligence team enhances the company's existing core services with a specialized focus on proactive investment research. This expanded service provides institutional investors access to an internal team of analysts and content across all sectors. The GRI team leverages Coleman Research Group's continually expanding Executive Forum of industry professionals in providing clients with content in the form of conference calls, events, seminars and a continuously expanding range of research products.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor or Graduate degree required

Previous experience as a Research Associate covering industrials or healthcare required
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to source sector related data from all relevant sources, including industry publications, webcasts, various websites and company personnel
- Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills

- Comfortable communicating with industry experts, company management and investment professionals
- Energetic and self motivated - must be organized and able to prioritize work and multi-task effectively
- Must be detail-oriented with an ability to work independently and under strict deadlines
- Interested in working in a demanding and dynamic team environment that requires flexibility
- Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work and coordinate effectively within an entrepreneurial environment
- Proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications
- A good understanding of capital markets is a plus
