Position Summary:
The rapid growth of our business demands an addition to our management team. We are looking to hire a General Manager (GM) of our Hong Kong office. The General Manager plays a key role in the overall operation of our Hong Kong office and the interaction between Hong Kong and our other global offices. The role involves managing, recruiting, training and developing of our personnel in Hong Kong. The GM will work directly with the Global Sales, Account Management and Research teams to manage and ensure high quality and timely service delivered to our Institutional clients in the APAC region. The successful candidate is responsible for ensuring the overall operational effectiveness of the team.
Position Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree required
- Approximately 5+ years of relevant management experience in financial service or professional service industry, with at least 2+ years in the APAC region
- Sales Experience or Sales Management experience selling into APAC region preferred
- Prior experience working with a financial services firm based in North America preferred
- People management experience including: hiring, training and managing teams
- Strong communication, leadership, analytical and organizational skills required
- A proven record of operational improvement experience preferred
- Demonstrate ability to lead and a professional demeanor
- Assist in special projects as assigned
- Prior P&L experience preferred
