Coleman Research Group, Inc. (www.colemanrg.com) is an independent research firm providing institutional investors direct access to industry professionals through one-on-one phone consultations, in-person meetings, seminars and educational events. Due to the continued growth of our business, we are currently looking to recruit a Human Resources Assistant based in our New York headquarters. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close knit, dynamic and enthusiastic team.

Position Summary:
The role involves assisting in company-wide recruitment efforts to include posting positions to various internet job sites, sourcing of candidates, scheduling candidates for interviews and other recruitment administration needs. The Human Resources Assistant will manage the new hire/on boarding process of all new employees to include preparation of new hire packages, I-9 and new hire document verification and orientation of new employees on healthcare plans/company info. Additionally, this position will provide select administrative support to the CEO, COO and CFO as needed.

Compensation Package:
Base salary plus participation in a robust production incentive plan. Participation in 401(k) plan, medical, dental, life insurance, EAP and commuter benefits.

Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum 2+ years of Human Resources or administrative support experience and some recruitment or interest in recruitment
  • Ability to compose professional correspondence with minimal supervision is a must and perform administrative functions as required
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive material/communications in a discreet and professional manner
  • Positive, flexible and a team player attitude
  • Strong communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface/communicate with executive management and staff alike
  • Good human relations skills are required to service the needs of other employees
  • Attention to detail is a MUST!
  • Ability to convey a positive and professional image to applicants and employees
