Coleman Research Group, Inc. (www.colemanrg.com) is an independent research firm providing institutional investors direct access to industry professionals through one-on-one phone consultations, in-person meetings, seminars and educational events. We are currently looking to recruit Proofreaders/Editors based in our New York headquarters. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close knit, dynamic and enthusiastic team.
Position Summary:
Primary responsibility for Proofreaders/Editors will be to review, update and edit all consultant resumes and biographies before they are sent to clients. Proofreaders/Editors will work closely with other team members to ensure all resumes and biographies are reviewed daily for spelling, grammar and structure, while working against tight deadlines.
Compensation Package:
Base salary plus participation in a production incentive plan. Participation in 401(k) plan, medical, dental and commuter benefits.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree
- Approximately 1 - 2 years of experience copy editing or a recent Bachelor degree in English
- Detailed-oriented, accurate with excellent organizational and written skills
- Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Must be motivated, reliable and energetic
- Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess a great sense of urgency
- Ability to work with little to no supervision
